5-minute Major [3 January 2011]

Leslie Frazier will drop the "Interim" before his Head Coach title as he and the Vikings reached an agreement.....How tough is Jonathan Toews?  After just 3 days off for a shoulder injury, the captain was back tonight and flicked in the go-ahead goal in a 4-3 win over the Kings.....The Timberwolves dumped a 10-point 3rd quarter lead, and lost to the Celtics, 96-93, despite 24 rebounds by Kevin Love.....The Bearcats are FINALLY in the rankings at No. 24; it took a 14-0 start, and now they're comfortably behind 10-3 Washington (who had impressive wins over--horribly overrated schools from Los Angeles).....Is Michigan State still struggling, or is Northwestern really tough?  One way or the other, MSU squeaked out a 3-point win, 65-62, over the Wildcats.....Congratulations to Kaylon Williams; the UW-Milwaukee guard recorded the minimum triple-double (10-10-10) helping the Panthers snap Butler's 22-game Horizon win streak.....Take care, Man-genius; the Browns let their head coach go and begin looking for a replacement who can "lead us to a championship"; the team is also reportedly shopping for a unicorn....At ease.
